My point being it has all the hallmarks of an mmo. It plays like an mmo and feels like one. With heavy influence from wow with things like daily quests weekly quests and weekly resets. If the only reason it technically isn't an mmo because there are less people in the tower or game world than your standard mmo then it isn't really enough for me not to see it as an mmo......because it so obviously is.

Uhhh the meaning of mmo has NOTHING to do with quests and gear.... It really is all about the "MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER" not the massive gear or quests... Bungie even said its not an mmo... You are.basically calling a "dog" a "cat" because the dog has a few things alike as a cat...

Like I said it has everything mmos have except the population size in the open world and tower. So if its 99 percent mmo I'm gonna call it an mmo.

Not every mmo has dungeons and raids.... Planet side 2 is an mmo.... where are the dungeons and raids?? Test drive unlimited 2 was an mmo.. there was no dungeons or raids there as well... You are basically lying to yourself now... especially when the games creators even said its not an mmo... im guessing you are young...

Pretty sure the company who spent over 5 years developing a game, knows what their own game is considered... You still forgot to mention where they dungeons and raids are in planet side 2 and test drive unlimted 2... Oh and mag for the ps3...

Planetside is pure mmofps. Destiny is fps that plays like and mmorpg. For future reference most of the time people say mmo they are referring to mmorpg.
