I'm on the Xbox 360 and every so often I would be stuck on the very beginning black screen with the ever changing loading symbol frozen. This has happened multiple times before but would usually be fixed with a loading a different game then putting destiny back in. If that didn't work then reset your Xbox and router, which also didn't work. I've been on Xbox for a long time and the disc also doesn't look even close to the point where it would be unusable or even problematic.
