All irrational thought processes aside, I am super-stoked for the $80 Collector's Edition. I mean, how thoughtful of the game's creators to provide me with the means to jump from my outdated and dusty 360 onto the solid and sleek Xbone. I mean, sure, I've got the game and all the content on my 360, but that price of $80 with everything included and up-to-date... and the servers! Two thumbs up here.

yeah and the 400 dollar price tag for the one itself, then the headset, controllers, battery packs ect. i just bought an xbox one specifically for the taken king because i got the collectors edition and it wasnt available on the 360. i have 2 ghost edition destiny games, 1 for each of my 360 consoles i've played on since the beta. now that i hooked up the xbox one the graphics and sound quality are far superior, i would recommend upgrading to anyone who can afford to

Used Destiny - $30 Previously purchased DLC on last gen already transfers to current gen. The physical items will sit in a box until you sell them at a yard sale in 10 years for a couple of dollars. Just sayin'...

I'm hoping for the collector's edition to be available for digital download on the One. That way I can tell my Xbox what to do and maybe have faster processing speeds, idk

If you own Destiny, TDB and HoW on the 360 it all transfers over to the one free of charge and you keep all your characters and armour and weapons then you only need the $40 digital download of TTK.

On PS3 you have to buy a PS4 version of Destiny, if you didn't opt in for the digital download before some date back in January.
