Six Dreg Pride II -or- Word of Crota?
Help me out please! I recently got a void Six Dreg Pride from Skolas, currently equipped on my hunter if you want to take a look. It has impact and range on par with Fatebringer, but has a smaller magazine and arguably less effective perks than Word of Crota. I don't want to clog my inventory with two void pistols, but I'm unsure which to use and which to stow in the vault. What do you think? Answer the poll and post your explanations please!

1 ReplyIf you can get the hang of it, WoC is pretty awesome. It's tied with Thorn and TLW for the highest fire rate for Handcannons. It's designed to keep the pressure on the enemy and a continuous stream of bullets. A Gunslinger running Gunslinger's Trance can do some horrible things with it.

1 ReplyI have Word of Crota and the non elemental Six dreg, one on each hunter, and honestly I like them both but the Six Dreg better and even more so if it was the elemental one.

I like the target acquisition and impact of the Six Dreg. Paired with Extended Mag it's much better than WoC for me. I can never really get used to the recoil/sound/feel of the WoC.

I have the same as you, void 6 Dreg with a Vandal burn...I use WoC. If it had solar burn I'm sure I'd feel different.

It depends on who your fighting...If your fighting fallen you definitely want an arc weapon, if your fighting vex then void would be good but honestly I'd still go with word of Crota since one of your pride 2 perks are wasted on fallen.

1 ReplyI have not got that gun of dreg. But I am still sticking fatebringer but two perks that I like when you get headshot then it help you reload ammo faster. Other perk when you kill enemy headshot then it blow up but enemies around him get hugh impact and it save my ammo. I would use fatebringer again if they have fire or void in it with same perk..normal hand gun like ill will that I going blacksmith if same perk as fatebringer then I am golden.. Ill Will that I am going to try it on PvP.

1 ReplyAgainst Hive, especially majors, WOC - if you get the hang of combining Zen/Phantom Gift (aka: triple tap) they go away fast User hammer forged - range is surprising - pretty consistent head 1hk crit shots on acolytes/thralls/etc... at distances I'd normally use a scout I've used WOC in the vault and it does fine tearing up void shields and 1hk hobs/gobs Maybe it grew on me a bit re-doing a thorn bounty a while back - was a lot better in pvp than expected (certainly less of a handicap than AE as primary void)
