What? Why would a semi-zombie scare battle-hardened war machines with millisecond reaction times, who have taken on entire armies and kill actual zombies as pass time in infection game modes?

Spartans have taken on entire armies solo. A zombie wouldn't faze them. They're only concern is if it'd be one tally or two. (Since it's technically the same person)

Spartans drop from orbit with no ship. Doubt a zombie is gonna scare them. Plus they've already faced zombie types with the flood.
