Seriously, explain to me why you are spending $20 on cosmetic dlc. Please.

I'm not spending $20 for emotes/shaders. I'll use some power up reward points that will knock off $15 from my next purchase. Buy a $20 Sony card for $5.

224 RepliesI've spent 20$ on far more stupid things. 3 minute lap dance at a strip club, brink, 2 three topping pizzas from Pizza Hut, 20 ride tickets at a local fair, a case of beer, a couple pot brownies at a hempfest, a sweatshirt with a bottle opener attached to it, A ufc ppv that contained a 20 second main event, A fancy Davy Crockett hat that I wore one time then put in my closet, Rolls of paper that I wipe shit out of my ass with, A raft that I used on a float trip one time then stored it, Any food ever purchased in an airport terminal ever, A fake plant that collects cobwebs in the corner of my living room, Feel free to add to the list, what have you guys frivolously spent 20 or more dollars on?

You guys should have never heard about counter strike global where a skin can go up to 100 and even super rare skins can go for a 1000+ I even bought a knife skins that's worth 90 dollars lol.

6 RepliesI have paid approximately $180 for my wife and I to play this game. Combined we have over 1500 in the game. At around 12 cents an hour for entertainment that we enjoy. The cost for TTK to continue this entertainment is not out of line. Another $20 for some extra variety really does not change the overall value. I do understand that my financial situation is not impacted by these amounts and it can impact others greatly, but the extra $20 is not game breaking so it may be disappointing to not to be able to afford it, you can still play the game without it.

Because I want to support the game and I like cosmetic goodies. I also have the money to spend on it.

I couldn't help but start laughing. Only Bungie could screw up the fix to a screw up. $5 tops that's all that cosmetic upgrade should be worth. For someone that buys TTK for $40 and then adds on the $20 cosmetic package they might as well have bought the original bundle that included everything. Bungie, you greedy bastards and yes you are all asshats not just Luke

7 RepliesAll the morons saying $20 isn't much seem to forget the other outlay of $40 for TTK. So $60 for the expansion and 9 cosmetic items, only 3 of which will probably ever e used. That's the cost of a whole game. And that is the problem with gaming. Accepting a lower standard and paying through the teeth for it sends the message to Activision and the like that it's okay. It is not, and never will be, okay.

Let's just say 1 million people purchase the 3 shaders, 3 emotes, 3 exotic package. $20 price tag. $20,000,000 revenue. Activision gets 20%, not sure what that do to earn that much but I'm working simple math. That leaves Bungie with only $16,000,000. 400 employees? That equates to $40,000 per employee. But, we all know that 400 employees didn't work on that part of the game & we all know that more than 1 million will be sold. What's my point? Make a profit Bungie, it's a good thing. But stop trying to sell me eye candy at a premium. I see no value in these items at that price point. It offends me, therefore I will not purchase that product. That's my 2 cents...
