It is funny how everyone keeps complaining about the price of the DLC and how this game does not make us do this. Let's break it down like this. The majority of games out there you put maybe 100 hours of gameplay into them and that is pretty generous. With destiny I have put in over three hundred hours and I have not looked in awhile but maybe closer to 500-600. With that being said I have played destiny about 3 to 5 times the amount of one game. So to match destiny I would have bought anywhere from 3 to 5 games at $60 a piece that is $180-$300. I am completely ok with spending another $40 to bring my total up to $140 and added at the minimum 50-100 more hours(which is the amount you would get for a new game for $60)

Try free computer games. Have much more hours in them than in destiny

Still play halo 3, mega hours spent for far less than I've spent on destiny

Bought CS:GO on PC and every operation totaling less than $60, have spent ~$100 on the game for keys, skins, etc. 1000+ Hours played

I put over 400 hours into FF 7 way back when, only had to buy the game once.

Yeah well we all know that games even though visually have improved not many games have as good or even close to as good story as older games.

Amen.

You don't get it.

It's the fact that people have to buy the original game, the dark below and house of wolves again to get the emotes and class items, for what £80. A lot of people already have all that, why the hell should we have to buy all the content we already own just to get these things. When you think about it they're trying to get us to pay £40 for a few emotes and class items. That's what everyone's so angry about.

Not anymore lol. Check out the newest post.

Listen I agree that it is bull that day one players would have to rebuy everything to get that stuff.

Edited by Smooch: 6/24/2015 11:52:33 PMI have no problem with the dlc £40 price tag, although it's a little steep and the same price as a new game but I agree with your point. I've put nearly 1000 hours into destiny so I don't mind spending that amount on something I know I'm going to enjoy. Having said this I think it's a little unfair how the U.S. Have to pay $40 and in the UK we have to pay £40 meaning that we have to pay about £15 more or the U.S. have to pay around $23 less for stuff.
