50 % of people using 1 gun should tell you all you need to know. Wouldn't matter if that gun was a rare auto rifle. That's too many people using 1 gun and the reason is that it is more powerful than any other gun.

I use the gun because I can't use my auto rifle. If autos got a buff then I would have no reason to use the thorn.

I just started using it. Had over 5 for a while. I use because it outclasses scouts, pulse r, every other hand cannon, etc. I just find it funny that thorn users (not you in particular) claim it has so many counters and it's not op but they all main thorns.
