Halo was fast paced. Watch halo 2 mlg on midship. Watch onslaught on halo 3. Very fast paced without needing sprint, jetpacks, thrusters, clamber etc. It was done through map design.

I love how every game is just generically insulted by calling it "COD" now, it doesn't matter what game it is, or how it looks, if people don't like it suddenly it's Call of Duty. "That new Mario Maker looks like crap, it's just COD with Goombas!"

Even ads works exactly the same as in cod...there is no descope.. slowing movement speed down...wanna move faster? You need a perk...just like cod...penalty to hip fire...penalty to jump hip fire...in halo you need to break the shield before getting critical damage on head shots except for snipers ...which isn't the case for destiny and cod doesn't even have shields... Destiny and cod have loadouts. Halo 5 has an equal starts arena ranked mode... You've played halo right?.... you should know all this...

I never said destiny wasn't like cod, destiny is also another generic shooter. My point is that halo is also becoming another generic shooter, becoming more and more similar to every other game. ADS, clamber and other movement abilities every other game has. I'm glad they're taking a step back from halo 4 and correcting some of their mistakes with that game, such as no descope, ordinance drops, call of duty scoring, custom loadouts etc. Halo 5 looks better than halo 4 or MCC, but it still doesn't look on par with other past halo games. I'll probably buy it, but I'm sure I'll be disappointed.

Nostalgia is a great thing but its also deceiving. Think back to old halos and say dual weilds..fun times right? But that shit ruined the sandbox. Single hand weapons were so broken in that game. Thats why halo doesnt have that anymore. There is no game like halo. Small mechanics like clamber aren't enough to make it generic. Not when their is so much uniqueness still in halo. Like the shot for shot trading BR duals, the grenade physics, stuff like that. Shield works different in halo than any other game. Another reason why its unique. A lot has been fixed bro. They even increased movement speed, made strafe faster and instant rather than a slow build up of speed. Sprint has had a major overhaul. I can go on and on man but I mean...i won't unless someone is interested or misinformed about the halo 5 sandbox. Imo this halo might be thee best halo ever to come out. All the core features delivered in a modern era of gaming. Old halos were great but each had their problemes. Dual weilds and 8 grenades in halo 2. broken starts slayer that even bungie admited was a mistake eventually. Not referring to BR ranked starts. Halo 3 with it changing hit scan to having not having hitscan...reach bloom armor lock halo 4 ordnance loadouts etc etc...you get what i mean. I love halo though, and played all of them. The most major aspect that brings me back to halo is the way the shields work and BR starts. So even tho halo 4 had so much problems, I really enjoyed the legendary BR variant. Halo 5 isn't anything like cod tho man. Not in the slightest. Something like clamber isn't no where near enough to say its like cod...and thrusters were already in halo 4 but now are way refined and if anything it adds so much dynamic to the sandbox. Maybe you made your mind up already, maybe not, but if you ever loved halo I'd suggest don't dissmiss it yet. Forget about halo 4, forget about mcc and the 5 seperate game engines that had 5 differwnt game studios working on each and 343 trying to piece it all together being rushed by Microsoft....but hey if you hate it well you got a right to an opinion.

Destiny load outs and cod load outs are very different. Not much in comparison really

Forgot to add that to a degree they are similar. If youve played cod you'd know that guns can have perks that increase strafe speed while scoped in...stuff like that you also find in destiny which is why I said that. In halo, theres no movement penalty whatsoever.

There's nothing thats like halo in it. Its vastly different. From the way you aim, jump, melee, hip fire, even movement speed. There is cod similarities though. Ive never played wow, but I do know the balance in destiny is inspired by league of legends though. Which is why it's so bad honestly. What feels like halo to you? If it reminded me at all of halo I would love it and still be playing it.
