First thing first. TTK is not a ripoff.
A lot of you seem to be mad about the pricing and how Day 1 players are getting screwed over. Theyre not...
All of the Day 1 players who bought both DLCs for 20$ payed the premium price. You wanted to play it right then and there, you payed the price to pay it right then and there.
After the game has been out for sometime the value lowers and people become less interested. So... Bungie has to create new ways to entice people to buy their game. New people buy the game and they'll probably pay the premium price to get new DLCs as they come along.
This is the same thing that happened with the Ipad and what will soon happen with the Iwatch.
It's not the Bungie is scamming you, from a business perspective this is the smartest move. Anything else and Bungie will probably not have the money to work into more games and expansions.
If you don't like the TTK's price, then wait until it drops. But if you can't wait that long you can buy the DLC for the premium price to play it right then.
Another thing is that TTK is essentially a 1/3 of the original game with how much content is in it.
Just shedding some light on why TTK is priced at 40$. I know that I'm buying it the moment TTK comes out.

5 RepliesPaying the full price, for any new whole game, for 1/3 of new Destiny is an absurd argument. Who taught you maths?
