Used it to go flawless in Trials on Cauldron.
It's a beast. But people who can't land crits hate it lol.

Edited by Creepeth: 6/24/2015 2:37:02 PMI think it's a matter of getting used to the timing for sure. I just found it a bit inconsistent with the timing and aiming. And it is TERRIBLY slow. I think it's an easier transition if you're a hawkmoon user. If you're coming from the Last Word or Thorn, I think the adjustment to this weapon is significantly more difficult. I don't think it's just a matter of not being able to land headshots. I think most Destiny players are pretty good at landing head shots by now.

I wouldn't know about Hawkmoon haha. Xbox and all.
-
HAHA my bad. It's more similar to the Hawkmoon than the other two exotics. You need to take your time and make sure you land headshots. This weapon, like the hawkmoon, is almost entirely dependent on landing those precision shots.

Indeed. Ill Will and Timur's Lash are by far my favorite legendary hand cannons. I've got the god roll on my Ill Will (LiTC, Final Round, Braced Frame) and I've got Outlaw and Crowd Control on my Lash. Way. Too. Much. Fun.

Edited by Creepeth: 6/24/2015 3:00:29 PMYup, I had the same roll on my Timur's, as well. This weapon is very similar to Timur's. I think the Timur's feels a bit tighter and is easier with to land consistent head shots. Makes sense why you got used to this weapon so quickly. Coming from Timur's, with no hawkmoon available, you probably felt right at home from the jump with this weapon.

Agreed. Ill requires a much steadier hand and good situational awareness. Gotta find a time and place for that reload haha.
-
So true, that reload with only 5 rounds must TOTALLY blow. HAHAHA!
-
Lol it does. Like pre-buff Thorn. But the 2HKO payoff is worth it. Luck and Final Round both crit for 127 alone and 168 when they stack.
