Is the community really crying over these exlusive items?
I just don't see why so much bitching is going on. I understand these new items are limited to the legendary edition but come on people you really gonna use any of these items? No one uses emotes in the first place. When chest farming maybe someone will dance or point to signal the location of the chest but that's it. I don't really think that if a slow clap emote was implemented that anyone would use it. As for the class items, come on people. If you're like me & are apart of NM or DO, then most of the time you'll be wearing DO or NM items. This is me personally, I rock a DO Warlock bond with God of War shader & DO omen of chaos emblem. Why? Well to me God of War is the best shader besides Revenant. DO bond because for DO rep. And the DO emblem cause to me that's one of the best emblems. You won't see me using any other bond, shader or emblem. So for things you're really not gonna use is it really worth it to get this upset about? Even the VIP rewards don't sound that cool. Oh wow a shader, a sparrow & an emblem. First of all that emblem looks trash, the sparrow I doubt will have boost so what's the point of not using a Sparrow w/o boost? And the shader well like I said I rock God of War so I won't be switching it out anytime soon.
EDIT: Now the community has started crying over the Red Bull DLC... Jeez does this community ever not cry about something?
EDIT 2: Weekly update is out, can't wait to see what the community bitches about now

9 RepliesCollectors and fans will collect everything they can get into their hands. Bungie is selling the collector's edition while exactly knowing this. Hardly anyone that has never played destiny before will preorder that. It remembers me of apple. You certainly know how hyped apple is nowadays, right? Apple became so big because mostly movie / graphic / sound editors were using it, and man they loved the support and user friendly interface that exactly fit their needs. As apple became more popular they stopped supporting a lot of good editing programs, ignoring the needs of the people that made apple big. Summa sumarum: Bungie wants to sell us overpriced sht and ignore the wishes of the community that helped Destiny gain the little exposure it has now.

2 RepliesIt's not about the emotes, it's about the fact that you have to buy everything twice if you want them. At least give people the option on the side to purchase them, or an edition of the game that doesn't require me to re-buy everything i have already purchased. 40$ for a DLC is steep and they are basically saying you are going to get as much content out of the DLC as you did in Destiny. Another reason people are upset is Luke Smith had no knowledge or really any regard for the UK pricing of the game, yet again showing a disconnect with the UK fans ( IE exuberant shipping fees ). There is a lot more here than just a few VIP rewards and emotes. Believe it or not, the actions they make this week may alienate some of the Veteran fan base for good or reaffirm why they still play the game and will continue to play in the future. 1 ReplyThey're crying over the fact the Digital CE is same price as Physical one but they don't get any phyisical items essentially equaling to $40 for an emote, but most are too stupid to actually convey this properly and they don't seem to understand the biggest obstacle towards their goal is themselves.

i personally don't care about the emotes or any exotic emblems. just the price and the amount of content i am getting if i am paying $40 for dlc when the first two dint cost as much. i honestly just want to know if the taken king is worth it
