So you can't beat thorn? Here's some advice...
A thorn can only beat you if you're not playing smart, its not unbeatable. I'm tired of hearing the excuses, "Thorn is OP, nerf it". Get better and improve so you can beat it, not bitch like a three year old. I'm sorry if you can't do it, but other players can defeat it easily; you just don't care about even trying. You guys rush forward without thinking, keep moving and returning fire, its all it takes. So before you call me a retard or and idiot, many can back me up on this.
So please, stop these useless crybaby acts and play smarter, not dumber.

1 ReplyThere's many ways to beat Thorn, but for me, I use The Devil You Know & The Supremacy. But then, if I wanna duel that Thorn player, I bring out The Last Word, if I were to win the firefight, I teabag in TLW glory until I get shotgunned in the back xD

Ya it can be beat having it doesn't make you unstoppable , but that doesn't mean it isn't over powered either

It can be even more easier with the red death, last word or the vex mythoclast. If you do all of that while using one of those guns, you can easily beat them.

But if I get better with thorn I wipe even more asses, how is that balanced. It deals dmg like a high impact HC with high RoF. It was overbuffed and may keep its high dmg say DoT, but reduce its reload time and mag size back to vanilla

I remember when the nerfbat was a thing to fear. Companies coming through in the night and stealth nerfing your fave class/weapon to be met with rage the next day. Now kids beg for nerfs until they get them and then realize they just advocated for the destruction of something they used to enjoy. Fun in 2015.

Thorn is very deadly in the hands of a good marksman but once again is limited a little by awkward sites and ammo capacity. I can beat thorn users on a regular basis with my first gen devil you know which has better accuracy and just as Fast of fire rate. Plus Zen moment just for the laughs guarantee my headshots way better than the thorn ever could. I've double tap them before they even got their second shot off on a regular basis and if I have the crowd control buff active I can kill them with one head shot and a body shot

2 RepliesI've said it before, Thorn isn't OP. It can be annoying. It can be really effing annoying when the other team has half it's players using Thorn. Still, it's an annoyance. Doesn't need to be nerfed. When people state guns that can beat it's in a toe toe slug fest. How many people stand in the open and just point and shoot? I've beaten it with Multi Tool plenty of times. I'm not asking for a cookie. I'm saying this player that doesn't PvP much, with a sad K/D of like .9something can beat a Thorn by being even half wittedly smart. Thorn is no worse than a skilled sniper, shotgun slide, grenade to the face followed by a shot from anything and so on. Yes I own a Thorn. My preference is Multi Tool however. Still don't think Thorn needs nerfed . Learn to play against it instead of charging in mashing buttons.
