Exactly, but for a day/year one player, there's no midpoint. To get the emotes I'd have to pay double the price of getting the Taken King alone. I'd be happy if they sold a loot edition for $60. I'd be ecstatic if they had a midway point like that. It would show that they're actually caring for their community.

the fact that they are selling the digital collectors for the same price as the physical collectors in itself is is stupid. you get a few in game things for the same price as the real world things that will sell for stupid amounts on e-bay. the software that comes with the collectors edition is really irrelevant.
