Do you remember Reach?
In the teaser trailer its slowly paneling over the planet and sister to Earth, "Reach"
The Covenant were supposedly "Glassing" the surface of the planet. Glassing is when the covenants' cruiser belly gun, would produce a constant amount of focused "Plasma" (Energy so Hot it melts everything else at 2500 Degrees C.) The results were blackened planets
The planets suffering would not end there though, who ever survived the horrifying ordeal would soon experience spontaneous atmospheric changes. Blazing hot winds that went up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit, winds that blew up to 150mph on a daily basis, Dust storms, the that included picking up the broken glass or obsidian rock on the planets surface and making a natural blender that could cut anyone in its path into Ribbons.
Why is this relevant you ask?
Bungie. Bungie is the Zealot Covenant, their goal is Universal World domination. Their gain is global currency.
They gave us Reach. Then ripped it out of our loyal and faithful hands, left us on the surface. And Glassed every single one of us Again, and Again. Over and over until the only thing left, was loss. The loss of a family, the loss of friends we believed in, the loss of that legendary and Heroic Icon, standing amidst the rubble in triumphant bliss, and knowing that whatever come our way, he would hold back the darkness.
So I ask you Again, New and Old
Will you stand by? Will you let our place and people be glassed by these tyrants who would make a promise and sooner toss it into the abyss without even a second thought?
I only have one thing to say for you Bungie.

1 ReplyHoly shit you just merged 10 years of development and extra-media over two developers. You're a hero. Hopefully ONI doesn't give you the Giraud treament.

Edited by TigBits: 6/23/2015 6:19:47 PMugh...that Dev's post. Absolutely ridiculous. Talking like we're a bunch of morons who dont understand whats going on. Like we cant see what this is all about. TBH, when I read that interview on Eurogamer, I felt like punching him in the mouth. Just for his attitude alone, not even mentioning the fact that no-one cares enough to pay 80 JUST for emotes. I keep seeing people posting "Oh...its not bungies fault, its Activisions...." - well...This was a BUNGIE DEV in the interview...not from activision. It may be Activisions money policy or whatever, but this was a bungie dev who talked about the fan base like we were 3 year olds. That interview makes me want to punch a baby, thats how irritating it was to read And on topic of your post...yes...we are getting glassed....we're getting glassed real hard...

1 ReplyI bet 75-90% of players dont even read the forums, so I doubt there is going to be that much effect

5 RepliesI enjoy the story, mechanics, and the lore of this game. I live in a capitalist economy so I am okay with Bungie charging me money so they can have a profitable company and pay their employees.

This might go over most peoples head on here. They think its ok for this company to treat them like numbers and net gains instead of how they felt when a story like this was relevant.
