Wouldn't call myself a fanboy, I understand both sides of the argument and agree with both. I'm just saying, a lot of people were quick to judge....

In what way was HoW worth it? The content released was scarce as shit. Spread thin as a wire. The only reason why people praised it in the first place was "NEW FATEBRINGER" and "EASY EXOTIC UPGRADE". HoW was a 20 bucks QoL upgrade. Simple as that. Giving us PoE in exchange of a full fledged raid? -blam!- you man.

Fair play, valid point about the recycled content. I won't argue that, but it did provide people with more than we initially thought. Fair enough there's problems with trials and the controversial 'no raid'...but at the end of the day I, amongst many many others, still play the game and enjoy it. To be honest I get it, I get why people are annoyed, but from what I can gather there's more content in this next DLC, and there's still more to be announced. If you don't like the game don't play it/buy the extra content. I get that a lot of day 1 players feel kind of betrayed by bungies decision, £40 is a lot for DLC. At the end of the day though, this is the way the gaming industry is these days. I couldn't tell you how many games I've bought that have severely disappointed me with season pass bullshit and lack of content despite stellar reviews...take the witcher 3 for example...amazing reviews across the board, I bought it and personally couldn't get away with it. The graphics weren't what were shown, the gameplay wasn't as exciting as was shown or described.... Destiny however, although all the obvious arguments against it, manages to keep people hooked. I haven't played a game this much ever. And I've games for a long time. Surely that speaks volumes? Come November I would have probably moved on altogether if TTK isn't what is advertised. It's just one of those things.
