For the past day or so I have been unable to load Destiny. I remain stuck on the connecting screen (the one after the title screen before selecting your character) and have not even received an error or system message of any sort. I have done all of the normal hard resets of the Xbox and router/modem. All to no avail. Any ideas about how to fix it? As far as I can tell the rest of my games are all functioning properly.

Didn't realize post was so old, was relating this to destiny 2. Thanks Guardians!

1 ReplyHello! I have had the same problem, resetting any/everything and doing all the help guides doesn't help. What does work however is turning off the controller I have charging with a cord to my Xbox, which automatically turns on when I turn on my Xbox. Logging in with the other controller, then switching to the other, also works. Go to dashboard and quit and reload after any of the steps. Hope this helps!

1 ReplyThis may sound weird but try using another controller. I have a wireless and wired and the only way I'm able to get in without being stuck on load screen is to use the wired controller...

10 RepliesThe black screen with the moving logo in the lower right hand corner? Press the home button on your controller. On the home screen, with destiny highlighted, press the Menu button ("start" button). Select Quit from the menu. Restart Destiny, and enjoy!
