1 ReplyWow. What a jerk. That's ok, I just got a great deal on COD: AW Digital Pro Edition, plus Planetside 2 just came out, and I've got a bunch of games on my to be played list... I can pass on an overpriced expansion from a company with no respect for its customers or maintaining the value of their purchases.

Edited by Sapphire: 6/25/2015 6:58:45 AMI'm absolutely not buying that DLC. I didn't even buy the game or the first 2 DLCs with my own money (it was all thanks to people who wanted me to get it and helped pay for it.) I'll not be supporting what Bungie's doing, and I'll be spending my money on better games. I won't feel too left out when I've got other stuff to play!

1 ReplyRules of business by Bungie: 1) make money! 2) screw the customers 3) don't change rule 1&2

Oh noes this is terrible, I have to sell my copy of destiny to my neighbor before he hears of this!

16 RepliesGood they should defend this price. Glad they are not giving in to the whiney cry babies that the destiny community seem to act like.

4 Repliesagain i'm trying to tell you companies like bungie, microsoft et cetra know that gamers are overall the dumbest group of consumers on the planet. like a woman who buys shoes because they are cute over comfortable. if we as gamers would stop buying dlc for a few months then things would change. you can blame idiot gamers that purchase systems as soon as they are released for hundreds of dollars over their real value. gamers that purchase dlc for shit as stupid as weapon or armor skins. blame ourselves not the company smart enough to exploit the ignorance of gamers.

lukems no why

Am I the only one here who 'SUPER PYSCH'D' about 3 new shaders and a new ghost !? - hahah j/k ; Bungie Fail - hahaha not j/k

4 RepliesLuke Smith is also the guy that made Armor Lock in Reach. Just let that sink in for a little.

1 ReplyYou know, reading interviews with CD Projekt Red and how they said they want to try to make all these little things free because they should be. And then you read an article like this where they lock the little things behind 80$ of shit you already have, goes to show where Bungies head is at... Sad, really.
-
Yea im glad I walked away the game sucks in general and them pulling this shit! Man they are really trying to kill this game
-
That's what you get for buying Destiny, haha.

3 RepliesWe have all played many games over the years and if you can just clear the fog from your eyes, you will see Bungie and Activision are on a 10 year mission to do things different. It's that simple. Bungie wants the funding of a subscription based game model via charging the player base $40-60 a quarter for the next 10 years. To be honest, that proposition is not all that crazy, but that kind of ambition must be followed by delivering a game experience worthy of the price. At the end of the day, Destiny failing to truly deliver is at the heart of the $$$ frustrations I think. So I suggest putting all of the analogies aside and just accept things as they are. Bungie has been presenting us with a different model. I think many were troubled by having to pay for TDB/HoW DLC when it didn't really feel like something EXTRA and worth such a significant cost to players. Then came Taken King pushing the envelope even further. Maybe TK will be awesome, but if we were honest with ourselves, TK would have to be basically a whole new and complete game to be worthy of what Bungie wants to charge the base. So are you prepared to do what's in your own self interest as a gamer? Is the Bungie 10 year plan something far different than what you thought it would be?

That interview made me laugh and cringe at the same time

So will this "better" reward come before or after the recognition Mythic members were promised? I mean we've been waiting for that for over a year now, I think. No, DeeJ, you don't listen to the community and take their feedback seriously, Destiny is not a great game, and your partnership with the community has changed. Does anyone remember when Bungie didn't treat loyal fans like shit and new ones like cash cows? Because that's a pretty foggy memory to me already.

11 RepliesEdited by N3gativeCr33p: 6/23/2015 1:26:02 PM
"Year One players won't get the same perks as people who buy a collector's edition," he told Forbes. "They'll get something better. Tune into the Weekly Update for more."
... so would that 'something better' be a large bottle of lubricant? Thanks for making my Arkham Knight purchase that much easier, Bungie!!!

Where honored by having to pay at least 100$ for something new people can now get for 60$. Also we are recognized by getting a shitty collectors edition for 100$ and now people can get a 10x better one for 80$ so basically we are recognized by all the extra money we spent
