3 RepliesLuke Smith's petulant arrogance will go by unnoticed. The poll results are clear of that. Marketing hype will outshine a price tag as long as they glue enough glitter to it. It also helps when most of the player base don't actually pay for the content themselves. Mommy's credit card speaks wonders for the video game market. But given how Eurogamer said the content is minimal compared to the original game, with an equal price tag and Luke responded by saying he would only reiterate there's reduced content, I have extremely low faith in the future of this company's ethics, morals, and interest in their community and games. I will play, but the Taken King is not for me. You are nothing but a wallet to them now, and they will manufacture the finest vacuum to suck it dry.

Not sure where I fall on that list. Frustrated yet I already preordered the sold out collectors edition...screwed with all of the choices.

The biggest annoyance for me is the terrible conversions between dollars and sterling. We have to pay nearly $50 more for the same stuff if we want the legendary edition. It's crazy. I've gone from wanting to spend £50 on that edition to not want to spend anything at all on the expansion. Idiotic isn't even the word. Even children know what an exchange rate is.

i am done with destiny , i had a fun time (3 -34 with all exotic weapons),but there are great titles coming out for the same price and i dont see the value in expending 40 bucks in it, when i can buy battlefront 45 bucks in origin

2 RepliesI don't see why people are acting like a bunch of tards over this. The guy is making a point (in the context of his conversation with the interviewer). In this case the interviewer wants the emotes but doesn't like that fans of the game have to pay $80 for the extra content. Smith says 'if we gave you the option and you saw the emotes you'd throw money at the screen' AFTER the interviewer mentioned that he would buy them if given the option. Y'all are a bunch of butt hurt complainers.

I love this game and had no problem preordering the full game & dlc season pass but I'll prolly not be droppin another $40 on it after reading that nonsense. And their aint no way I'd pay a separate fee for just a few emotes or or stupid shit like that, its why I stay away from "Freemium" phone games. Anyway by the time TTK comes out, Halo 5 will be out soon after, same with Fallout 4, and even GoW 4. Hell even Recore looks amazing, I'm definitely getting that.
