14 RepliesEdited by BUDDY-VA: 10/9/2015 3:50:09 PMIn reality, if I like the emotes , I will buy them. It's my money, I enjoy this game, it's really the only game I play now. I realize these practices are unnecessary. I realize these practices are to make more money. I realize that this could be a trend to worse things. I realize Destiny was designed to be addictive. I've heard all the arguments and the outrage and the concern and mistrust and frustration and anger and bitterness, and crying and whining.... but I like what I like. Micro-transactions are not going any where, because when a person likes the game they have no problem spending the money on something they want. This is what gaming is now, don't like it, it's time for you to find a new hobby.

I get that Luke Smith has a bombastic personality but there is simply no excuse for this. First of all, wether they are comfortable with a price or not they shouldn't be charging more for our foreign brethren. Luke Smith should never do an interview, ever, again. No one likes him in the Destiny community and he should simply stick to making Destiny. Almost idiotic the statements he makes at times.
-
Oh, oh not me! We have already over payed for all the DLC'S that have been released. If anything they owe the emots to us for free to make up for all the bs

Edited by InflictedComb8: 10/9/2015 6:33:05 PMDude, they need to GTA the fuc$ out of this game. Pimps, hookers, unlock weapons in the tower.
Who knew Bungie had someone so despicable, they could make DeeJ sound sincere...
Luke Smith: You're feeling anxious because you want this exclusive content but you don't know yet how much you want it. The notion of spending this money is making you anxious, I can see it - Eurogamer: I do want them. I would buy them - Luke Smith: If I fired up a video right now and showed you the emotes you would throw money at the screen.
So who's ready to "throw money" at your screens for Bungie's new emotes? Please let Bungie know how eager you are in the comments below. I encourage everyone to support this petition on change.org and let this pompous windbag know that we're not throwing anything at them except a wave goodbye if they don't get their act together. https://www.change.org/p/bungie-activision-give-year-1-players-the-same-perks edit: I'm pretty sure this was the fastest I've had a post removed from trending. It could 100% be algorithms. Unfortunately algorithms are programmed and therefor someone had to put in the coding to remove posts based on whatever criteria. And obviously key words or subject matter are part of that equation. So while someone may not be literally clicking and removing posts, they are 100% being censored. Edit 2: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/132415177/0/0 If you have time, read and watch this and you'll see just how amazing this Destiny community can be.
Luke Smith is a scumbag! Yep, I said it.

People gonna give you crap about buying TTK, but I am enjoying the heck out of it in both Xbox one and PlayStation 4. Cue the haters...
-
3 RepliesBut, but, but.... I am a sucker!
-
Why the -blam!- are people necroeing this post? It's so old! People have way too much time on their hands if they are going back to posts from 4 months ago. Whoever brought this back up, please get a life.
-
33 RepliesOP still threw money at his screen buying TTK, with many others. Seems Luke Smith knew players better than they knew themselves.

13 RepliesEdited by Bungolickstaints: 10/9/2015 4:05:33 PMBungie suuuuuuuuuuucks. Luke Smith thinks Destiny is Jesus second coming in video game form. *according to the guy in my comments, I am pushing my agenda for God. So I apologize to everyone for doing that.* (LOL)

Diablo 3 got a LOT better once they hired a new game director. Just sayin...

7 RepliesHe all but said it, get ready for micro-transactions guardians!

You sir are a HYPOCRITE! You talk sh-t about Bungie and their business practices but just like the people that like playing TTK you donated $40 as well; the nerve!

7 RepliesA brief edit of Howard Beale: "I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of content or scared of losing their money. The dollar buys a nickel's worth, servers are going bust, players are all hovering their cursor over delete. Punks are running wild at E3 and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the game is unfit to play and our gear is unfit to use, and we sit watching our TV's while some Bungie developer tells us that today we had 6 hours down time and that you will still throw money at your screen, as if that's the way it's supposed to be. We know things are bad - worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go and patrol anymore. We sit in the tower, and slowly the game we are playing in is getting smaller, and all we say is, 'Please, at least just give us an AR buff. Let me have my shader and my Emote and my sparrow and I won't say anything. Just that and I'll leave you alone.' Well, I'm not gonna leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot - I don't want you to write to your congressman because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Collector's Edition and the lack of content. All I know is that first you've got to get mad. You've got to say, 'I'm a HUMAN BEING, God damn it! My life has VALUE!' So I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the forums. Open it, make your fingers work, and type in all caps, 'I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!' I want you to get up right now, sit up, go to the forums, open them and type loudly - 'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Things have got to change. But first, you've gotta get mad!... You've got to say, 'I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Then we'll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Taken King crisis. But first get up out of your chairs, get to that forum, pull up that keyboard, and yell out loud while you type it: "I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!"

I've been a destiny player since day one bungie! DAY ONE!!!!! I have paid and played both dlc's before taken king- yet I feel punished for doing so, by the time I get what is being sold as a collectors edition for $80 I will have paid $160.00, why am I, a supporter of destiny since the beta, getting the short end of the stick? should I wait for destiny year 3 so I wont be doing this again?? If not for players like me and anyone who supported this game through its many faults it would not be the success it is today. Thank you to whoever decided it was ok to rip off all your first supporters!!!!!! Destiny is and I'm sure will be an amazing game with more potential then most on the market but thanks to my wallet getting smaller with every new turn I'm not sure if I want to be a part of what it will grow into, and that sucks!!!!!

-
I've been going on my mic and just laughing my ass off at the children I meet in game who's parents bought them this shitty expansion because they cried for it

Feeling completely ripped of by bungie. Everything I did in the last 9 months was worthless. What a waste of time. Now you want more money wtf.
-
I'm still waiting for what they will do with those who bought the ghost edition, for me, it was almost 150$. So yes, I want a release with only TTK and the exclusive stuff.
-
1 ReplyJust keep bumping the post until Bungie is forced to respond!

3 RepliesStill think Luke is a savage. Most people would have done exactly what he said if he didnt say it. Get me? Everyones so offended now. Its like telling a fat person that they're gonna eat the cake cuz they're fat. Now that you've said it, the person wont eat the cake anymore. They're so offended and desperately want to prove them wrong. Im sure a good number of the people who are currently offended would have dug into that cake if it were not for Luke's words of wisdom.

7 RepliesEdited by SkellRino: 6/25/2015 12:48:32 AMFor those who have neither been to E3 2013 or even SEEN any of its footage do not even fathom the capactiy of how awesome this game COULD have been! This was meant to be the title that saved everyone from the dismal trauma (get it? Lol) that decorated the golden halls of this this current decade of ill gaming. Those who have seen the passions from Rare's Goldeneye, to the very first CoD. Games such as Final Fantasy 7 and 10, to the very wonders hospiced by Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. The Onimusha series and Dragon Age series, despite flaws, will alwas be remembered in my time as most inspirational. There were 15 years of golden age gaming (get it? Lol) thrown out the window because of companies such as Activision and Bungienwho saw a business opportunity out of the ONE medium of such not meant to solely be treated as such. Many have fallen to Activision. Many more will do so. Have you guys seen what they tried to do to Infinity Ward? I don't know all the details, but Activision is pretty damn close to being identical to Hydra. Lmao

8 RepliesBump Band together my brothers and sisters we raised bungie up and we can burn it to the ground if we feel like it
