They hit us first, let's hit them back. You can see in the interview with Luke Smith, he mentions a time of "convergence" where new players and existing player will work together. Well -blam!- that. When these "new players" enter into the games they need to be boycotted at all cost. When you come across these noobs with their exotic class items, and exclusive emotes do not interact with them, do not help them progress through the game, and above all else, teabag furiously when you kill them. Attempt to ruin these new comers experience, and help this game along it's path to death. 2 RepliesHe's an arrogant bastard. In no way should he be repping Bungie, they shot themselves in the foot with that one. Insulting the player base is one thing, and not even being able to justify the price of TTK against the base price of destiny is another. "If I showed you the emotes, you'd throw money at your screen". Although this is partly true for some players, you don't say it as a "sales spokesman".

My thoughts on your statement - So you're telling me that you spent many hours playing this game and you got no satisfaction or entertainment out of this game. Every hour you spent raiding, pvping, trialing etc ment nothing to you and now you expect bungie to give you sh!t. (You)- Well yeah I payed like 100 dollars on this game. I expect to get something for doing that. (Me)- So you paid for the dlc, you got the dlc and played the content in the DLC. Am I right? (You)- Yeah (Me)- Hmmmmm..... Oh I get it, someone forced you to play. (You)- Yeah!!!....I mean no. Yes, no. I don't know.

2 RepliesThe season pass is supposed to be good for a year? i just bought it when i got the game.... being that the game released with DLC ON THE DISC! I feel like this is Overstepping profit margins and entering into Greed Territory. I do enjoy the game... however an additional $40 for what is likely the first ACTUAL DLC, Especially after spending an additional $40 on the first two is more than that original game... if the price is not Dropped Severely soon than i will move onto bigger and better things... I hear Horizon is going to be a fantastic game ^.^ Sony does it right.

I've always hated this shameless pricing convention where they just change the currency symbol and just go with it. The $75 collectors edition is actually worth around £40 here in the UK and I'd actually consider forking that over but since they're charging a full £75 for it, I'm sorry but -blam!- that. I'm even seriously considering not getting the regular expansion if they don't drop the price significantly or convince me that there is some SERIOUSLY huge chunks of content being added. Yeah, I love the game and I've been playing it religiously since December but this shit makes me sad... Edit: I also think it's absolutely -blam!-ing INSANE that they expect us to pay so much to essentially buy something we already own plus a little something extra. This PR rep or whatever he is, has a complete disregard for the end user. They're more focused on bringing in new players and really don't give two shits about the rest, they already got our cash. If they manage to squeeze out just a little more from some of us it's still a win for them and if we don't buy then they'll peddle it to the new players and still make a killing. And this guy also seems to seriously overestimate the value of a couple of emotes and all that. I'd rather have the option to get this stuff outside of being forced to buy a "complete collection" that I already own by like 80%. Give the damn option and you'll see more sales than if you force it down people's throats like this... /rant

1 ReplyUgh, I can only agree with the angry fans out there. Why not charge less for you current community. Why would I want to purchase the original content again to get only a tiny bit extra. No I do not see 40 dollars value for 3 emotes and 3 class items, but I still want it like anyone else. I'd be willing to spend 10 dollars. I just find it insulting to say I'm going to throw money at you because you think it's so valuable. The interviewer sounds much more than logical Luke. That interview definitely gave a bad impression. Value is not the issue, wasting money on content we have already paid for is the issue.
