You can "earn it" by going flawless in trials and going to the lighthouse

U earned the lighthouse u didn't earn gally. You earned a chance to get exotics. Did your whole team get a gally? If they didn't then it's not a guaranteed reward. Great job in trials tho!

I've seen someone get a gally out the 8 win trials package. If you make it to lighthouse and get a gally that's earning it. First week of trials only 300k went flawless. I would even say if you get flawless enough weeks in a row or over all you can get the gally automatically.
