How on earth does a pistol or 'hand cannon' deliver more damage and range than semi automatic scout rifle! The barrel length determines accuracy and range depending on the caliber of round you fire! A pistol or 'hand cannon' is accurate to about 25 meters! Rifles, with correct barrel rifling and weighted rounds can hit a target a mile away (1600 meters) Sort your weapons out bungie!!!!! A pistol should not be out performing a rifle, a pistol is a quick go-to secondary weapon, not a primary killing machine
