Taken King is £40 ($63.50) for English players
OK, so I love Destiny (not afraid to say it.). I got special edition and was very happy I got my season pass with my original purchase, but then expansion one came out, and my friends were all complaining that it was £20, instead of the $20 (About £12.50).
I assumed that by the time expansion two came out, they would fix this, because it's just plain unfair. Did they? No.
Now, Bungie expect to pay £40 for what Americans get for the equivalent of £25. It is exploitation of the charming British folk and I strongly urge citizens like myself to take a stand. Therefore, I will not be buying expansion three, unless of course I can get it cheap online. I'm not giving the British-hating exploiters and more of my hard earned cash.
Thoughts? I can't be the only one that's noticed this.

That's a PSN error not bungies fault... They released the price in USD on PSN and probably didn't specify a specific amount for UK players so the same value 40, was transferred to the UK marketplace instead of being converted then transferred...

1 ReplyThe fact is America is America and the UK is the UK. It's cheaper for American game company's to release games here then over seas. Not to mention now online taxes that are charged now so digital copy's are treated like hard copy's so you can bet your ass there is still a export fee, and custom's in your 40£ price tag.
