TLW can outgun Thorn if you know how to use it.
High impact PR's can two shot without relying on DoT to kill people. Either get Messenger or get a legendary of the same archetype and try to roll it with a stability aid perk and Headseeker. I wouldn't recommend Spare Change though. No matter what you do, the recoil will always pull hard to the upper left. Super weird, I still haven't gotten used to it.
Scouts are iffy. If you get something like The Scholar, it can 3 shot, potentially 2 shot if you get the Reactive Reload in and other enemies are around. Purely situational.
I have nothing against Thorn, I just wish people would realize it's not the only gun in the game that's halfway good.

People say thorn is op but it really is just a top tier weapon. It is overused because when you die from it your screen changes so people noticed it and began complaining so more people used it and now it is overused. Not OP. Both pve and pvp have weapons that are better than most weapons.

Edited by nafets13: 6/21/2015 6:37:35 AMNone of the weapons you mention can be spammed for body shots... You need precision shots to kill quickly. Thorn doesn't, it's a spammable HC, that's why 90% uses it in trials Edit: you can argue all you want but that's the truth, even when you spam the auto-aim is there to give you a critical...

TLW can 3 body shot. The Messenger or any high impact PR can 3 body shot. Scouts can only 4 body shot unfortunately. If you actually know how to use guns, you won't be worrying about Thorn. It used to piss me off to no end, but since I learned how to actually play PVP half way decently, it doesn't bother me because most of the time I can outgun them. If you're actually making someone work for their shots, you shouldn't have much of a problem. You're k/d looks to be similar to mine. You have 300k Medal Score over me. How you haven't learned to get past Thorn users is beyond me.
