TL;DR at the bottom So, if you're keeping up with all the TTK news, you should know that we're getting weapons from the actual [b]In-Game weapon developers[/b] - Omolon, Hakke, and Suros. Omolon is basically the most advanced technologically. Their weapons are similar in design to Hardlight (Sleek design, solid grey with some blue), and I assume they'll be energy based rather than use bullets. Suros are top of the line. Every Suros weapon is similar to the design of the SUROS Regime (duh) and will have that very smooth, white and red design. Hakke are like real-life modern day weapons, M4 rifles, combat shotguns, the like. In terms of design, they most closely resemble the Khvostov, but adopt their color scheme from the Universal Remote-a tan, almost desert camo. However, I would love to see Tex Mechanica jump into the fray. If you didn't already know, Tex Mechanica are the makers of the Last Word, a very "western cowboy" looking gun. Now can you imagine if Tex Mechanica made other weapons? Old western scout rifles? More western styled hand cannons? Sniper rifles that look like Winchesters? Every weapon would have that wood and steel with gold trim to it. I think Tex Mechanica would blow the other manufacturers out of the park in terms of aesthetics. Tl;Dr: Tex Mechanica should make weapons in TTK, like Suros, Omolon, or Hakke. Are there any other weapon manufacturers other than Suros, Omolon, Tex Mechanica, and Hakke? Edit - Cassoid, Nadir, Daito, and Crux/Lomar look to be the only other weapons developers. We have no idea what any of their designs are, except Crux/Lomar, who don't really have a design. They just make rockets, like Truth, Dragon's Breath, and Gjallarhorn. Otherwise, we've only seen Cassoid, Daito, and Nadir mentioned on blues from the Crucible, which look like every other blue Sniper, Pulse, Auto, etc. Also, post which manufacturer appeals to you most! Is it Omolon? Suros? So Cassoid produced Invective, and if the exotics are any hint at designs, then I'd say that Cassoid weapons, if introduced, will probably be solid black with a glow of some sort. Keep in mind that only Suros, Omolon, and Hakke are confirmed. Edit - 200 replies!
