Sorry Bungie, instead of directly trying to milk more money from your old costumers with illogical deals, why don't you try and do this instead, so everyone is happier in the end (well except for the folk over @xbox who like to get the middle finger every year): -People with base + season pass 1 (both dlcs) get an exclusive collectors offer of The Taken King + season pass 2 (the next 2 dlcs after the expansion is released) + the exclusive digital collectors edition rewards; <--- THIS would justify buying the collectors edition for old costumers, i don't want another Destiny copy with the season pass... Price tag 70 bucks (assuming season pass 2 is also 35 bucks, meaning it's a 5 bucks discount). -Give old costumers with base + season pass (2 dlcs) the exclusive VIP stuff + the exclusive collectors edition ingame items, all for the 40 bucks as originally requested; -legendary edition should ge no extra goodies, 60 bucks for the complete experience is already pushing it towards us old costumers; And no, my body is not ready for this. If no changes occur, chances are that i will drop Destiny like many others will/have already done, i have no trouble in doing so. I have all gaming platforms to mess around with, and with the amount of games being released shortly after the expansion, chances are that, even if i bought the expansion, Destiny will die off quickly, just like this season pass has managed to achieve for me (a month later, got all gear i wanted from DLC except 2 new exotic boots and the forever unnabtainable Fate of all fools/347 vesta dynasty). All in all, other games will be worth more investing into if this keeps up. And with all of this said, i'll stick with the limbo situation i'm in for as long as possible, waiting for good news, while thinking that it's highly unlikely any noticeable change will occur in the near future, a man can only hope to be wrong in a time like this.
