This gun was an exception to this rule, just like firefly on fate bringer.
So yes this actually IS possible.

Fatebringer doesn't not have perks that should keep the same slot. Firefly is the first perk unlocked, then outlaw just like other guns.

But it's a hand cannon. They can't have firefly on them.
