Three weeks is still temporary. Heck even 10 years is still temporary as long as they lift the ban.

You'd be surprised at how much the consumer can be milked cause people keep throwing money at pre-ordering/pre-paying. This wouldn't be an issue if you could rent games still but most if not all of those companies are gone besides gamefly.
