[b]ABSTRACT[/b]: As it stands Destiny and both expansion packs are going to be sold at a big discount. HoW was just released and they are already discounting this whole package [b][u][i]and giving out new free exclusive items to people who buy this new bundle. [/i][/u][/b] So, As a Day 1 player would you want a set a unique gear when you buy just the expansion? [b]GOAL[/b]: Bring Bungie and its most loyal players closer together while still giving new players a great option in buying a discounted game. Bungie can use this Veteran Reward package creation process to work with gamers on crafting the future of Destiny. Giving gamers some input on in game gear even if only just a vote is good PR and empowering to consumers. [b]OPINION[/b]: Ok, I don't think I'm alone when I saw the new Destiny price drop announced and felt a little annoyed. I do however see this as an opportunity for Bungie to score some points with veteran players and I would like everyone's take. How about a Legendary Guardian package for all Day 1 and Beta participants? This package would include: 3-5 etheric light 1 set of completely unique (veterans only) armor for each of our characters. 1 unique sparrow 1 unique ship 1 unique shader 1 unique weapon Now here is the part that makes Bungie look better. Let us vote on a selection or submit our own designs for these unique items. Veteran players decide the perks, pick the design and vote. What does everyone think? So if you are saying we shouldn't get anything for our loyalty and helping to fund this game even when it wasn't that good Bungie disagrees with you.
