Are XP boosting exotics pay-to-win?
Spend $80 on the Collector’s Edition of The Taken King, and you get an exotic class item with a continuous XP boost. Spend $40 and you get bupkis. Has pay-to-win come to Destiny?

Check out the kotaku article on their play through of TTK. Class items seem to now all have modifiers. No doubt there will be exp, rep, armor and stat mods to be had on all class items come September. So, no, it's not P2W
