8 RepliesReading this thread makes me wonder a couple things. Why do non Americans care more about US citizens owning guns and not about our rights to own them? Why do non Americans even care, they don't live here. Why do the non Americans think their opinions trump American rights in the US?

As someone from a country where gun laws are super strict (basically you can't own a gun unless you're a farmer or go shooting pigeons/pheasants) I think it's too late for America. All the criminals already have guns (obviously they won't give them up) While I'd prefer a gun free society for everyone, a good compromise could be tightening gun laws? I don't know much about it, but it sounds pretty easy to get hold of a gun...

I'm not American so I can only go off the media, if there's less guns in a country wouldn't that drop gun crime a lot? I don't understand the big things with guns and owning them, I'm aware it's in the constitution but that was written years ago, times and people change and so should rules
