Why do men play as female avatars?
I'm just curious as to why I join a party chat with all men and then inspect their characters to find female characters. Can someone explain this to me?
Edit: I don't care nor does it bother me that men choose to play as female avatars, I was only curious as to why they choose to do so. Most of the answers so far have been interesting/enlightening.

I enjoy making characters for my games, and I find female characters more interesting to write about? Not sure really, just felt like the right choice for me. My friend's a girl who always plays male characters for much the same reason, she prefers writing for them

I have two titans. One is male and the other is female. I can quickly tell which one is my main character without much thought.

I thought it felt right. My others are male. Also want one of each type and gender. In the grimoire it refers hunters as female.

Because the armor looks much better on the female characters. My buddy has the gauntlets that Xur has this weekend for the titan and I think it made his character look fat, put them on my female titan and I think she looks bad a** just my opinion.
