Why do men play as female avatars?
I'm just curious as to why I join a party chat with all men and then inspect their characters to find female characters. Can someone explain this to me?
Edit: I don't care nor does it bother me that men choose to play as female avatars, I was only curious as to why they choose to do so. Most of the answers so far have been interesting/enlightening.

3 RepliesBecause my roommate made a toon first and I saw that gender / race does not affect the game experience in any way. If it was like Mass Effect I would have been more thoughtful about the selections. That being said I wish my warlock could get a haircut / dye. The look of her hair in common areas from behind annoys me to no end.

I just don't really role play my characters or give them back story, nor do I model them after myself. Female Titans/warlocks/hunters (especially hunters) look 10x better.
