I'm just curious as to why I join a party chat with all men and then inspect their characters to find female characters. Can someone explain this to me?
Edit: I don't care nor does it bother me that men choose to play as female avatars, I was only curious as to why they choose to do so. Most of the answers so far have been interesting/enlightening.

4 RepliesMy titan is a female because the titans armour looks less bulky as a female.

When I started making alts I decided I wanted one of each class and one of each race. Just in case something class / race specific gets added to the game and for variety. My warlock was my last and ended up being a human. The male models just looked bad to me. I just couldn't find a face that I felt like actually having as my face in the game. I flipped to females and basically found a model that looks almost identical to my femShep from Mass Effect (I played male first there, and then was advised by a friend to try the femShep as her voice acting was much better). I figured what the heck and stopped trying to find a non-horrible male human model. If our characters talked more I would seriously consider re-rolling my awoken hunter as a female. The awoken male voice actor's voice is annoying. In Diablo 3 I always roll Demon Hunters as females for the same reason. The male Demon Hunter voice actor's voice is horrid. -Razlath

2 RepliesUnless you play with your wife or gf, if you are a single guy and made a female character there's something inside you subtly whispering "Caitlyn Jenner...."

Edited by monkyken: 6/19/2015 3:31:55 PMI used to play Gunz, everyone choose females as the sword action just looked a lot better and was easier to follow. I just never created guy characters since playing that game for a few years I guess. No reason really just figured every tom dick and harry would be a guy character and variation can be interesting. Also thought the Titan armor looked better on the female as doesn't look as bulky Hunter on the other hand looks better as a male. This is just my opinion, I appreciate everyone will have different views.
