They can add the space if they want, last gen just can't display them all simultaneously due to memory limitations (RAM memory, not actual storage). To get round that they could easily add pages for them. They just don't want to bother.

This is true, so many other games have shown that last gen was more than capable.

But anyway, last gen is dead, many new games will not be released on them because they are pieces of shit

If you want see a large inventory of weapons, check out Borderlands. I could even create mules for the gear I wanted to archive. Bungie could quite easily offer a back-up vault through the app if they wanted to.
