Maybe I define myself as the player who considers his weapons trophies, tokens of accomplishments. Why would I want to throw away a single one of these trophies? Each and every one has a story.

This. Especially since they refuse to add trading on the basis that each persons loot has a story behind it. So they're now asking us to throw away that story? They're contradicting themselves too much in everything in this game.

If they've decided that the stories behind the weapons no longer matter, then they should enable trading between players to ensure that everyone can get the weapons they need.

I agree 100% with you. They need to get their shit together and put out a cohesive statement on how the game is going to progress.

Right my vault is 80% exotic guns and gear I also collect vog, crota, arena and iron banner gear.
