Wow....Just Wow. 2 Points before my Answer: 1: Katanas are Japanese; they were used by Samurais during the Feudal Era of Japan. 2: Chinese is a Nationality not a "Race". Truly there is no such thing as "Race", there is Ethnicity and Nationality, Caucasian, African, Asian-Oriental, Middle Eastern, etc. would be considered Ethnicity, Chinese, Japanese, American, German would be considered Nationalities. Point being you can be Caucasian (White) and Live in Japan, or African (Black) and live in Russia. Prime Examples: African-American (Black American Citizen) Asian-American (Asian American Citizen) etc. And my Answer to this Forum is Caucasian. Why? Because his voice, that’s really all the evidence I can use to support my answer. Edit: I haven't gotten to read all the Halo Books through but someone Replied with a piece from one that said he had Brown Hair and Freckles, it never said he was white, he could be black with brown hair and freckles, so unless theres a part that actually says he is white, don't use that. Edit: And this Thread is stupid, because its going to bring in Racists, Stereotypist, etc. So for that reason can we leave this at Master Cheif is Master Cheif, he is all Races, and He Represents all the Nations of the World as 1 Entity. Bungie did not create a race for him because there would be controversial arguments and etc. It is un-needed. Personally, I visualize him white...black visualize him black, chinese visualize him chinese.
