Hi guys! Bungie has released on Monday a new patch that removed all the burn modifiers from Skolas. Here we are so with a gameplay that shows the easiest but also the safest method. We fight Skolas very calmly:at the beginning we shot to him with the rocket launchers and when we did a good damage we used to kill all the other enemies to avoid any kind of problem. Our advise is to give priority to all the enemies before damaging the boss so you can kill all the waves very easily and to stay near each other so you can pass without problem the essence. If you want any kind of advice just comment down below!
PS:sorry for my bad english :)

1 ReplyI couldn't figure out how to change the language setting....lol...but good raid.

2 RepliesWe burned him with Gjallarhorn and got him to 50% health. Following this, we rotated, killed the ads and burned him again, subsequently disarming the mines. We killed Skolas and finished up the last of the mines. This to work took us 53 minutes. It's difficult, but it's much more fair.

1 ReplyI glad. I was so tired of getting him halfway on health and everybody being like "let's wipe, drop a heavy synth wait five minutes and try again."

1 ReplyCompleted it with three hunters last night. Challenging but fun.
-
1 ReplyJust did it. It's actually nicely balanced now, leaning towards easy.

10 RepliesHonestly the fight is 100x easier. I haven't done it post nerf. But during void burn we wanted to see how the fight would be without burn active so we used normal non-void weapons. Beat it first try. This is before enemies only spawned on a % of his health and he had about 8k more HP. yet people kept telling me its harder now...

8 RepliesNice job! That actually DOES look like fun. Maybe I will give it a try. Looks like you just gotta watch out for those Captains.

4 RepliesMy brother and I beat it, one man down. The guy we played with ended up lagging out when the burn first takes effect... Somehow we managed to survive through it and the mines.

1 ReplyThis is exactly how we approached him and we had a lot of fun. This is a great battle now. Well done bungie.

8 RepliesI fear I could be in the minority... But my group and I actually enjoyed the Skolas fight this week. It took us three tries but in the end we got him. Some great water-cooler moments while on the way to the treasure room and back in orbit. So many close calls, clutches, and heroic moments. We like the changes. That is just our opinion. Good luck to all other teams. You can do it! ~Cheers
