Why Xur shouldn't sell Ghally (READ)
Most of you reading this most likely do not have a jellyhorn and most likely have well over 500+ hours but let me tell you something. When you see that exotic glow drop and it's a ghally, you will feel accomplishment. Not just for getting it randomly, but having faith that you could get it. It's one of the most rewarding thing to see. Xur could sell it (hopefully for you guys) but it doesn't feel as good as getting a drop.

Had one drop the second week of house of wolves and to be honest I really didn't care. I've played so long without this crutch that I can use other weapons just as effectively. Ghorn has its place but is not the only weapon in the game that can get the task at hand done. I really hope xur does sell it soon so all the post about why cant I get a ghorn or I lost my jellyhorn from my vault will disappear.

2 RepliesI hope he does sell it again, it would eliminate the " I can't get a Ghorn" or "RNG-esus is bullshit" posts and give more people access to, or easier access to, end game content where a Ghorn is a prerequisite. I was over 700 hours in before I got my first and that was running three characters through all of the raids and nightfalls almost every week so I get the whole RNG numbers game. At this point in the life of Destiny I see no harm in selling it again.

I react about the same getting it from a random drop or from xur. Just seeing it in my inventory is what satisfies me. You never know when xur will sell it so finding out he does would generate the same level of excitement. At least that's how it was for me when I first got Suros from Xur

Grinding the coins to buy from Xür would be more accomplishing than doing a nightfall and getting gally rather than something id use all the time.

One of my friends in my ps4 group has gotten 5 gally drops I kid you not. It's crazy how some people have never gotten it while others get it multiple times!

Every week whaaaa, whaaaa, whaaaa, play the game get Gally, the hawk, or The burn, and your set to start playing. I bet people that don't have gally have The Hawk, or thorn. So stop crying and wait to get it like everyone else. BTW I have two, I don't deserve either my son does who sits and plays beside me and is way better then me yet he Doesn't have a gally yet.

I feel ya on that first one was April 1st. Played this game for hours and hours finally got one I was hell of pumped. Same way for my thunderlord. Once Xur sold it lost its glimmer.

9 RepliesI see your point, but the problem with it is that the R in RNG dictates that this might not happen for some (or after, say, 3000hrs. Not many ppl playing that long!) It's time Bungie/the community starts treating it for what it is. Just another exotic weapon, to be sold at some stage by Xur. The argument that it shouldn't be sold because it's too OP is hypocritical. (If it's too OP, why should just you have it, and not someone else?). *standing by for: "you dont have it, cry more" responses.*
