Vault Space explained
There are about 115 usable weapon slots if you add up all your guardians weapon slots and add vault space. I know there is more available, but you need some spaces for item movement. There are 10 weapon types to include sidearm. That is 10 of each weapon type: 1 of each elemental type for the shotgun,sniper,etc...and 7 exotics per weapon type as well, with room to still pick up engrams (15 slots). 100 is a lot to choose from, granted I know ppl want to keep all their guns from every raid and vanilla too but that is a want not need [spoiler]please explain how this is not enough I don't see it[/spoiler]as for emblems and ships sucks yes but gotta make hard choices sometimes

It's simple: no more vault space is no TTK for me. I'm tired of deleting VOG, crota and IB armor pieces with great stats and perks because I don't have space to store them. Why do I want to keep that much armor pieces? 1. Depending on the exotic piece I'm using I want to use different legendary armor pieces because I want a perfect stat distribution 2. When I'm using handcannons I want gauntlets to increase HC reload, when I'm using a pulse I want pulse rifle reload increase 3. I have 3 different characters 4. I have all the exotics 5. I play PVE and PVP which requires different gear

Iron banner has over 9 different weapons All factions have about 9 Trails has over 9 plus an elemental version of every type of primary. Then there's the raid weapons (which help in and out the raid.) There is currently over 30 exotics. So explain how what we have is enough

8 RepliesHad all VOG guns, all Crota guns, and all exotics before house of wolves... Yes.. I deleted select weapons to make room for dlc guns.. The vault space increase wasn't enough for gun collectors.

The reason my vault and characters are not full to bursting is not for lack of items. The reason I have extra space is because I don't want it to take 30 bloody minuets to move all of my weapons and various items around when I change characters, I also still want to be able to pick up greens to dismantle so I can't carry a full inventory of legendaries or exotics around. [b]Make vault space purchasable[/b] charge me $1 a slot. I'd say you will be surprised by amount that is purchased but I doubt it. You can't actually be so incompetent to think people don't need or want more vault space, this is one lie that will never become true no matter how many times you repeat it.

10 Replies2 sets of raid weapons for each character, Iron Banner weapons with different damage types, Queen's weapons, PoE Weapons, ToO Weapons, Exotics... It's easy to fill up your characters and vault space.

For people that just keep the weapons they use, there is plenty of space between the characters and the vault. However some people like to collect things. For the collectors, the vault is way too small.

I copied that from the preorder for TTK dlc, key word in it being collect. When TTK drops I still want pull out my old Lord high fixer n have the new noobs be like "what's that hand sniper he's got"? But because I don't use it everyday I'm supposed to shard it?????

Every exotic weapon, every raid weapon from two raids, every iron banner weapon, decent legendaries, weird shit like the strangers rifle, rolls that you can't get now because the guns are gone with those perks or the perks been removed now from new versions. Don't forget the queens guns and PoE guns, oh yeah and Trials of Osiris guns too. And still with all that I've had to delete favorites I really regret like The Devil You Know, two of those actually, The comedian and Two to the Morgue. I have two gjallarhorns, three icebreakers, two black hammers, two efrideets spears... The list goes on. Also your math doesn't include needing free spots to move guns around, get loot drops, and collect engrams. You just don't have enough stuff or enough experience to understand the situation.

On top of all of the other reasons that people have stated, Destiny fits the typical nerf/buff cycling game: things that are strong today will be weak in the future and vice versa. You are potentially locking yourself into having to re-grind if you have to dismantle a hard to acquire weapon to make space, and that choice was predicated on the weapon being nerfed/weak/whatever, and then in the future that weapon gets buffed and in-demand. Or even beyond that you could be throwing out a gun that could be no longer obtainable (like some of the original vendor and IB weapons that are beasts in crucible).

How many raid, elemental Prison, and elemental Trials weapons do you have, and would you ever discard your only example of one of those weapons? How about perfect rolls on a weapon, how many Outlaw+Firefly weapons, rodeo+field scout machine guns, shot package + field scout + hammer forged shotguns do you have? How many high stability 3rd eye+send it hand cannons have you found? Once you lose access to a gun you really liked you'll get it.

5 RepliesBecause not everyone wants to use their 3x characters as donkeys......... It also leaves very little room to move weapons between characters, when you're running nightfalls back to back, for instance.

Now yes, there is enough vault space if you are practical with the game's content. However, l don't always play destiny practically as that isn't how I have fun with the game. I wish there was more vault space because I know I'm going to find dozens of new weapons that I love in the future. Getting rid of older ones to make space is kinda like burning precious photos to me. Hopefully bungie can find a lasting solution to vault space.
