I wanted to know the results of this scenario:
I buy the disc Collectors Edition of Destiny: The Taken King for my next gen (Xbox One/PS4). Will I be able to play The Taken King (if not all the content in the CE) on my last gen system even though it's technically a next gen game purchase.
Basically, is the purchase backwards compatible?
I ask this because a lot of my friends don't have the next gen systems but still play Destiny on the last gen. I would still like to play with my friends, but also update to my next gen system with Destiny.
Thanks for any help you can provide :D

1 ReplyHello B0NES1129. In the past, players have not been able to go backwards in terms of buying the expansion. If you bought the expansions on PS4 or Xbox One, you couldn't go backwards and download it on PS3 or Xbox 360 for free. It was only forwards compatible. I presume it will be the same for The Taken King.
