What are your guys' concerns about the new DLC? What might happen that would leave you with a bad taste in your mouth?
Current list:
+ Everyone will be wearing the exact same stuff again (armor wise, I mean)
+ Even less content (unlikely, but a fear all the same)
+ Very easy methods to reach the level cap - could be avoided with more content at the level cap
+ Being on the run from Oryx (lol)
+ Lack of story
+ Lackluster Raid
+ The PRICE
+ Ignoring current issues just to push content
+ Subclasses will get a big nerf because whiners suck
+ No private matchmaking (this is more of a hope, but still included)
+ Reforging removed
+ Not enough new areas to explore, or the areas will be too small to be enjoyed
+ Weapons messed up (again -.-)
+ Good, new gear to kinda replace the older gear (iffy)
+ NO MORE VAULT SPACE (AAAAUUUUUUUGH)
IMPORTANT NEWSFLASH:
In a ViDoc, it seems that Oryx's ship-thing is a patrol area. There are bounties, and Ghost can now bounty-track (whatever that means).

1 Reply40 dollars better equal PRIVATE MATCHES! I feel everyone is with me on this
-
Last TTK worry is that matchmaking won't be available for all modes. Bungie wants me to play with my friends, but I don't have any that play, so I play with random people every week. Everyday, every week, random people, for 9 months... I don't think I am that different from a lot of people. We need matchmaking. The main reason I might not play these days is because I don't want to bother with finding people.

The Taken Money.

11 RepliesIf they don't add in OPTIONAL match making for end game activities I really won't have much interest in picking up the new DLC. Before anyone flames, those of you who have premades and people you play with have no dog in this fight. Optional matchmaking does not hurt you in the slightest and will only serve to allow more of the community access to end game content and create a more enjoyable experience for more people. Those of you in big clans or lucky enough to have huge friend lists are completely unaffected and can continue to play the game as you normally do with your premade teams so please STFU about how optional matchmaking would be a bad/terrible idea. Also don't use the AFKer/Randoms are Scrubs/Random Trolls argument either, that stuff happens a very small minority of the time that you match make for anything in the game, and you are just as likely to get paired up with some assholes on LFG.

1 ReplyIt will be the same planets and the fallen will have fake glasses and moustaches on and theyll say its a new enemy

1 ReplyWhy do u waist time on making assumptions on something that has not even come out yet?It could be the best thing they've come out with, or the worst piece of crap.We will not know until it actually comes out.Wait and see, then whine n bitch.

5 RepliesFor me, I'm afraid of a disappointing story and I feel the need to be specific. Vanilla Destiny didn't have a story so much as it had a premise. I'm wondering if any of these old questions will be answered. What is the Darkness? What is it planning ? What are the travelers motivations? What happened during the collapse? All the different races - hive, fallen, cabal, vex - what are their stories? Motivations? Who is the Exo stranger and what does she want? What did the Exo stranger not have time to explain ? Why didn't she have time to explain it? Will the speaker tell any of his stories that he could tell you?? What is the origin and nature of awoken and Exo? What was the black garden and how did it work? What happens to the traveler now that it's destroyed ? For TTK to have a satisfying self contained story of its own is not enough. Destiny has still failed to deliver on its promise of an epic story. Both previous DLCs have done nothing to further the "story" of the base game.

a new alien race called taken money

2 RepliesWait.... So we can't ascend our gear again?!?!
-
+cheese all over the place at raids and strikes. +barely any story added and not fullfilling their promise (AGAIN).
-
1 ReplyMy main concern is the available space you need on your HDD. For last gen it says you need 20GB, which is more than twice the file size I already have for Destiny. And to be honest I don't have that much room left, and since Destiny doesn't alow you to put files on other storage systems it's going to be a problem for me.

5 RepliesEdited by ZetaScorpii: 6/17/2015 2:24:27 PMThe game is fun and that's all I care about. I could spend all day worrying about stupid shit and who shot JFK and all, but bungie has done a great job so far.

9 RepliesEdited by aarondropdead: 6/17/2015 3:36:27 PMAlso, assuming that leveling up stays the same (unless they decided to change it for a third time) can't we all just hold on to our etheric light and be max level as soon as we start?
-
Maybe we might find out who the Stranger is and why she gave us her rifle.
-
So this ethric light I'm using on old raid gear and such is a waste? Next dlc ethric light will be gone and we all start with poxy vender gear again? Aw hell no
-
4 RepliesIt'll be optimized for last gen.
-
Lack of story, Price Ignoring issues Basically, low content value for money we going to give... I am one of those who do not like RNG, in a closed loot system, and dislike the whole level mechanic in destiny (mak so much of the interesting variety of armor inaccessible cause it is worthless)
-
5 RepliesNumber 1.) No Optional Match Making! I mean for everything, including new raid. Time to get it added. Number 2.) I fear they will do away with ascending gear. New raid means we go back to the old grind. Those are deal breakers for me. I watched the video, it really looks great. But if there isn't OMM at least, then TTK is out of the question. And I have to buy two DLCs.....

3 RepliesEdited by Please eat Meg: 6/17/2015 11:03:08 PMVault space (probably) won't be much of an issue in TTK since it's only on current-gen consoles, not last-gen :) edit:Apparently you can get this on old-gen consoles. Well it looks like we'll still have vault space issues.

Story mode in reverse....again
-
It actually cost 80 dollars for the collectors edition now

17 RepliesThe fact that this is already done a month after HOW which has a pretty awful story chain that is just a bunch of 5 minute missions with that one patrol mission thrown in as a desperate attempt to make the DLC longer. TDB was only 20 minutes to do the entire thing with crota taking about 25 minutes if the AI didn't bug out. I predict that this DLC will take 1 hour to do the entire campaign and that once you know what to do the raid will take 40 minutes. Overall these have all been pretty pitiful in the PvE side of things. I hold Bungie to the bar that I hold Gearbox for campaign DLC. At Least 4-10 hours of content, good replay value, cool new loot, good in depth story. Of those 4 things bungie has only done one and that's the loot, but even then the stuff is incredibly unbalanced.
-
My worries. The weapons won't be as good as previous weapons

5 RepliesI think we should move on with gear, using fatebringer until the franchise ends sounds very boring
