I have always been jealous of the PS4 and the ability to listen to in-game audio through the controller. Especially with a sleeping wife and baby upstairs. I play Destiny on very low volume so I can barely make out the pew pew pew of my Last Word. Once I read about the stereo headset adapter, I was like, take my money please. I bought one and sure enough, it actually worked*. I now hear Destiny in a totally new way. I can hear all the little noises that the environment makes, like a whirring motor and whether or not it is on my right or left. Totally helps in PVP cause I can hear enemies coming. It's really awesome. Totally worth $19.99, or you can buy the new Xbone controller for $65 or whatever it costs cause this functionality will now be integrated. *Note that it does not work with iPhone or Beats By Dre headsets cause they use the OMTP set up. You need headphones with the CTIA set -up. Try using Samsung Galaxy S3 or greater headphones. They work great.
