Too Much Hate for Taken King. Anyone excited?
I'm seeing nothing but the usual whining and complaining about the new DLC announcement.
I'm genuinely excited. Destiny has been a good investment in my mind. I've been playing it instead of other games and because of that I haven't gone out and bought any new games. $40 seems pretty reasonable. I may even get the $80 collectors edition. All the new subclasses look awesome and Oryx looks like an actual god. Not just an overgrown Knight.
I'm genuinely excited. Well done Bungie.

1 ReplyExcited sure but everyone who is cool just throwing thr money away ur the reason why things keep getting more and more expensive and more reason why they keep getting more greedy because some ppl don't think just throw money away. Games just keep getting more and more next thing u know it's gana cost you $500 just for a full game cuz not to far from it. Some idiots wud actually pay.

I'm still debating if I should buy the $80 version even tho I have all the expansions but shaders, emotes, and class items r pretty worth I do t know what I'd do with the game, TDB, and HoW?

I'm so hyped for TTK a boss who has dialogue. Hopefully he says things that will make you want to kill him more. Maybe this raid will be like VoG not like CE. The clips of boss fights seem like they r actually bosses now which is so much better than bullet sponges (but they will still be that). I hope we can upgrade our old exotics I want that the most.

1 ReplyEdited by NappQuest: 6/17/2015 7:59:27 AMSee the thing that people don't realize is what about all the exotics you've acquired. all the gear and weapons what about the skills you have learned that is not being given, so yes we have a huge advantage to anyone new to the game do you not see that. apparently you think when they start they have everything no they won't understand vog, crota, the prison, strikes they have a long way to go. yea they won't have to grind as hard but they will have their hands full trying to learn everything we already know so imo I will always have more experience than any new player. its called marketing and they did it right to try and get more players invested in destiny. Remember we all started at lvl 1 and look where we are now we are legend. Thank you Edit: I'm super stoked for TTK I really can't wait but I have to XD

2 RepliesYeah. The third subclass is I believe dlc exclusive too. Only because there is a mission in the dlc to unlock them.

2 RepliesI think it should be a great expansion, especially considering it's going to be huge compared to previous expansions. And oryx looks incredibly well done, I tip my hat to the designers, even if it's not a purely original character model, they nailed the demonic bat baddy look pretty well. :)
