Played for the first time last night for a few hours. Just don't know if I like or dislike it yet. Thoughts? Do you think this game is fun?

Gets better the higher your level Dungeons and PvP

I'm right there with you. I can't figure out what is bugging me. I just can't get into it. I do know they really need to amp up battle sounds. Feels like I'm fighting with a wooden sword.

7 RepliesLoving is so far. I played the PC beta several weekends and enjoyed it, only a few issues. I didn't think it was worth the $15 subscription fee each month though, and the content seemed a bit lacking. But the console release is much better. Subcription fee is optional, PvP is fun as all hell, additions such as the justice system make it feel more like elder scrolls, and there's always something to do. My favorite thing by far is the crafting. Its so in-depth, and since the economy is almost entirely player controlled, it is an essential thing for certain players to take up. Definitely a good buy if mmos are your thing, or if you are interested in trying the genre.

18 RepliesEdited by Øbscure: 6/16/2015 3:18:33 PMIt's a slow grow game, creeps up on you until you realise you like it, yet you'll have no idea why exactly you like it. I think ESO is full of potential, but I lack any confidence in the abilities of Zenimax Online Studios to achieve it. FF14 is just a better console MMO, and with Heavens Sword coming out soon, only the deep fans of the franchise will stick around. Most will have moved on from ESO within 6 months, and within a year it's reasonable to expect the game to go fully Free to Play. Just the nature of the market. Too much competition, and not enough quality in ESO. Enjoy it for what it is, but it's really not a good game, from its last generation game design, to it's regressions in UI functionality, to it's buggy and lag riddled content, ESO is just not quality elder scrolls experience.

I would say keep going until you are at least lvl 15 so you can switch your weapons then try a 4 man dungeon and see how u like it. If your not enjoying yourself by then your probably not gonna like it ever

It's so fun and so big of a game. Give yourself a full day of ESO on your next free day and you'll have a blast.
-
If it's like any other MMO, it'll take weeks before you get comfortable with it. You can't judge an encyclopedia by the Aardvark entry.

I love it
