You buy a case of beer or a couple bottles of liquor that's gone in two days but you cry at 40 bucks for another DLC lol!!

5 Replies$40 dollars here, another $20 here, and next thing you know, you've spent over $500 on Destiny 1 alone. For a beta game that has about as much content as a few levels of Pong. Other MMOs have more content than a Destiny player could ever imagine right out of the gate, and a lot of them are free to play. Bungie has no excuse for creating story missions with the same vanilla maps or opening up a few lazy arena modes for a $20 price tag, while other game producers open up entire worlds for the same price. By claiming that it's just a $40 walk in the park, you are allowing this kind of business practice to feast further on the naive. Since you cannot realize the long-term bleeding, I understand that you are one of those naive customers, with the forethought of an amnesiac June bug hitting that same wall over and over again. You're the type that deserves to be milked like a domesticated cow, at the whims of corporate interests and their insatiable greed, till blood spews out of your utters. Along with the beer statement, allows me to gauge exactly where you fall on a social/economic level. You probably hail from a cherished lineage of Wal-Mart workers and handicapped electric scooter racers, who probably can't grasp why they are poor and degenerative. Like Prometheus, I just gave you fire; we'll see what a gamma can do with it.

5 RepliesFunny thing is EVERYONE who is crying about the new dlc price is still going to buy it. Lmao JUST TAKE IT AND SMILE
-
I don't mind the cost of DLCs. Go to the movie and have popcorn and a coke, then go eat dinner somewhere, and you've spent $40. A DLC will allow you to play for much longer than the time of dinner and a movie. You get a lot of entertainment value for the price compared to other entertainment activities. Now, giving more stuff to newbies than veterans is a different matter that I do take issue with.

40 bucks is fine. .. its the fact that newbies are getting more swag for buying now and a cheaper price than the grizzled ancients. If bungie would give the additional class items and etc to veterans I would be happy.

Honestly, I just look at it as $40 for a new game. I know it is an expansion but I like looking at is as a new game where I don't have to start with a brand new character and get to keep playing with friends I've made along the way. I really don't think it is that bad. Well, long as the content is good and getting to level 36 isn't as weird as HoW EL thing was.
-
8 RepliesYour brainwashed! You're the prime example of what bungie wants from players. People that just buy into their crap with out questioning bungies ethics.
-
8 RepliesForty dollars is more than half the cost of destiny. What we saw isn't even half the content of destiny. It is disgusting and greedy. The expansions before this should have been free, and this should have been the 20$ one. We aren't complaining about money. We are complaining that the price does not match the content. Why is that so hard to see? Or are you too busy riding Bungies cock to realize?
-
3 RepliesIm not botherd about paying $40 im batherd about having to pay $80 for content i already have and if i dont pay that $80 i dont get the new content that the $40 deal wont have. They need to fix this and give the one years all the content we should get for the $40
-
1 ReplyOr go buy dinner at a resturant....and see that money disappear in about 45 minutes.
-
13 Repliesi guess i can put it this way. You go in and buy 2 cases of beer and lets say you pay 40 bucks. The coustomer behind you is having 5 cases of beer. But just cuz he is a new coustomer he only needs to pay 60 bucks for 5 cases of beer. Wouldent you be mad. You just lost 3 cases of beer cuz you are a loyal coustomer.
-
1 ReplyI'm not concerned about the 40. I'm shocked that I have to pay 80 to have what new destiny players will get. If I want the collection edition. I have to rebuy the game that I already purchased prior to the beta. I really don't get that logic out of Bungie

If this is going to get noticed it will take a bit more than a forum post on the developers website. We all know the "algorithms" play hell with the posts on this site. 16 RepliesFor reals. I smoke $40 dollars of weed a day.

2 RepliesThis is the 3rd type of form I've seen on here. GTFO bungie employee we ain't buying yo crap! A good percentage isn't going to buy the DLC.

7 RepliesAll of us don't have the luxury of reaching our grown man, grubby little hands in their mother's purse to swindle out $40. No, the rest of us earn that $40, no matter how meager of an amount it seems. Because Destiny is still in a Beta form, and by the time Destiny 2 comes out, we will end up paying over $200 dollars for a complete game, by Bungie's competition standards. $200 doesn't even include all the special editions. So here's a little economic lesson for all you grown men-kids still suckling off their mother's or Uncle Sam's tits; why would I purchase Destiny for $200 dollars, and waste my time with it, which is valuable as well; when I can purchase a complete Witcher 3 game for $60? Especially when the Witcher 3 is a better game that offers their loyal customers FREE CONTENT. But whatever, to each their own. If you like wasting your mom's money, then more power to you. But once you start earning your keep, shit like I just said will make real sense.
-
10 RepliesIts not so much that its 40$ to me. Simply the fact they dont address simple issues like weapon balance. One major patch in almost a year? Weapons are the meat and potatoes of this game yet they would rather release another dlc an jack up the price to almost another new game. They would rather change the ball in the tower.. What the f? They would rather take our money than fix their original product that we paid for. F bungie ill pass.

The beers and liquor WILL go down far more smoothly than any hack-minded DLC this "AAA" game can offer. I can promise you that much. And don' even get me started on how much more entertaining it can be to me, thus myself be more to my crowd audience.
-
2 RepliesSo go spend your 40 bucks doing that shit and stay off the forums
-
-
My thought exactly.
-
Another moron that doesn't get it. Stay off the beer and spirits tramp.
-
3 RepliesIt's the shady company schemes that are BS. I can afford it, I'd rather not waste money on it when I would have more fun with new games coming out.
