This is how i solved the problem. For PS4.
Delete the game, and reinstall the game. When the game is finished installing START IT. It will say the update is currently installing, just wait on that screen, and do not start the game without the update, until the update finishes which automatically starts the game.

One last question the problem that showed up for you was the 90 day thing right?

Yes it was. I couldn't start the game or anything. But after restoring my licences, deleting the game. downloading the game, starting it up, and waiting on the screen about the update still installing, everything went by smoothly. Of course i'm afraid to close the game entirely now because I don't want to wait like that again.

But did you lose all your stuff when you deleted the game?

No, it only deletes the game, not the save file. i think the expansions need to be redownloaded? not really sure what the expansions grant you though.

Bungie has your saves on their servers i believe
