Gjallarhorn Grimoire Promo Code and the relation between using the code and never receiving the Launcher
Recently discovered there may be a relationship between using the destiny promo code for the Gjallarhorn Grimoire card and never getting the actual Launcher to drop. Many people in the forums seem to be having the issue of using the promo code that was available when destiny dropped to obtain the grimoire for the launcher and still not getting the drop. This poll may help figure out if there is in fact a bug attached to the card and promo code. (given that people actually answer honestly)

I used the code when the game first launched and just got my first gally today on the nightfall strike. Honestly, I had given up hope.

Well, i have the card for Ghorn and the Red Death... but i do not have either guns.

The grimiore and the item are not directly related. The grimiore is separate and will not affect the drop of the white whale.

I got my first one within 2 weeks of using the code. My friends got their first one within 2 weeks of using the code too. It could just be a crazy coincidence or there really could be something to it.

It took me 1600 hours before the first one dropped. I didn't use the code. That was running three nightfalls a week vog and crota all three time a week. I had the game from day one but after first one dropped I have got three more so it is just all luck man. Hope you get one they are alot of fun

I entered the code. I wondered the same thing for a looooong time. 4 have dropped for me in less than the last three months. So while it didnt stop it, I wouldn't be surprised if it impacted it's drop. Signed, Conspiracy Theorist FOR LIFE!
