Gjallarhorn Grimoire Promo Code and the relation between using the code and never receiving the Launcher
Recently discovered there may be a relationship between using the destiny promo code for the Gjallarhorn Grimoire card and never getting the actual Launcher to drop. Many people in the forums seem to be having the issue of using the promo code that was available when destiny dropped to obtain the grimoire for the launcher and still not getting the drop. This poll may help figure out if there is in fact a bug attached to the card and promo code. (given that people actually answer honestly)

Omg that's what it was???? For months (before I got the gally) I was beating myself up because I thought I deleted my gjallerhorn! I was one of those "who the hell wants an exotic rocket launcher?" In the beginning. Ahh now I feel better knowing that I didn't delete it before, I just put the code in.

2 RepliesI used that code and got 3 Gjallarhorns even before TDB. -Xur -Atheon -Nightfall Then, I started getting Gjallarhorns again after HoW, so far I've received 4 of them. -Crota -VoG Exotic chest -Nightfall -PoE big Chest

Don't even remember adding the code but I had the grimoire card. Took me 800 hours to finally actually get a Ghorn

I voted wrong.. I did use the code and recieved a Ghorn after 360 hours of gaming. Got it as a exotic doing PoE first time.. with the NF and Raids I never got any exotic weapons.

Edited by BigWoODoO: 6/17/2015 3:27:32 PMi got the same issue ... i use the code two weeks after the release of destiny. never get the gjallahorn. more than 500 strikes more than 550 raids more than 20 POE 1600 hours of gameplay no gjallahorn i really think is related to the code.
